The Last Humans On Earth, founded by German composer and producer, Alfa Kay, with accompanying vocals by Mia Voltag. They have never met each other except through social networking and live in different countries. This project was produced entirely online, sharing their ideas by sending each other recorded tracks, which has been efficacious in releasing their creativity regardless of their location in time and space.
Mia Voltag is a composer, performance/recording artist, and pianist. She started her career in Portland, Oregon; playing in the bands: The Venerable Showers of Beauty (Javanese Gamelan), Lovecraftian Child, and Extent; composing soundtrack music and performing in short movies for Voltag Productions; in addition to her solo recordings and piano.
Alfa Kay is a composer, producer, and DJ from Mülheim/Ruhr, Germany. He has a prolific music background; playing in the bands: Venus International, The Popshoppers, Alfalunaire, The Diamond Dragon Orchestra, and WOW!; owning his own label called Venus Recordings; DJ’ing as Mr. Alfa; not to mention his volumes of solo and instrumental recordings.
